How do I send a story tip anonymously?
Write to hello@kanews.in without including identifying details, or ask for a call back on a number of your choosing. We do not publish the identity of a source who has asked to stay unnamed.
How do I request a correction?
Email the reporter directly using the address on their byline, or use the contact form and pick Correction. We publish corrections at the top of the story with a note on what changed and when.
Can I republish a KANews.in story?
Short excerpts with a link back are fine. For full republication, write to hello@kanews.in with the story link and where it will run.
Do you accept freelance pitches?
Yes, for reported stories from Kanpur and the surrounding districts. Send a two paragraph pitch with your reporting plan and two published clips.
How do I advertise on KANews.in?
Write to ads@kanews.in for the current rate card. We keep advertising visually separate from editorial and label all sponsored content.
Is there a print edition?
No. kanews.in/ is digital only, which is what lets us publish as stories develop rather than once a day.
